Mark and Nick have the amazing ability to totally inhabit the characters they write about, bringing such empathy and believability to every storyline they work on. Their understanding of form and structure always amazes me, and they seem to be able to turn their hand to virtually any genre, from comedy to horror. Although they are truly great drama writers, comedy is never far from their hearts, and their natural timing adds such a great rhythm to their scripts making them an absolute joy to read. On top of all of the above, working with Mark and Nick is also about the most fun I’ve ever had.
