Huckerby & Ostler are an Emmy Award-winning writing partnership, working across a range of genres, including comedy, drama, family and action adventure.

Huckerby & Ostler have scripted hundreds of episodes of popular TV shows such as Danger Mouse, Thunderbirds Are Go!, Peter Rabbit and Shaun the Sheep, reaching worldwide audiences of millions.

They were head writers of Seasons 1-3 of Moominvalley (Sky One), starring Rosamund Pike, Taron Egerton and Kate Winslet, the award-winning new TV adaptation of Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomin books. View the Season 1 trailer here.

Defender of the Realm, their middle grade fantasy adventure book trilogy about a royal superhero, is published by Scholastic in the UK and USA and was long-listed for the Branford Boase Award. It is currently being developed for television by the BBC and Dreamworks.

Huckerby & Ostler's animated feature film is in production now for Netflix. They've previously scripted two other features.
